M any bulb varieties rebloom in subsequent
years. After they finish blooming in pots, give
them a “second act” in your garden beds. Remove
the bulb from the pot w ith stem intact and
replant in a hole that’s twice as deep as the bulb.
Add bulb food, keep soil moist, and don’t remove
the foliage until it turns brown. The bulbs shown
in this story are hardy at least through Zone 4. ■
